I’ve been commissioned to do my first portrait by http://thatnerdthere.tumblr.com. I’m not sure if he will truly go through with me doing it though. I’ve cut out the spots in it that would be a little TOO detailed to do with rice. But, if I can pull it off, it will be amazing.

The ‘Stache I began this one as a fun project. But I showed it to a friend of mine at school, she’s kind of crazy about mustaches, and she instantly wanted to buy it.  I think this may be the first I will mass produce, when I don’t have other commissions to be working on of course.

Silhouetted Owl This mosaic was one of my birthday gifts to my girlfriend and photographer http://tremendous-dynamite.tumblr.com . It is a picture of a Flying Owl.  The background is easily my worst thus far because it is the first mosaic I did off-center and also id a color change on. But the whole thing turned out beautifully. It is a picture of a Flying Owl. 

The background is easily my worst thus far because it is the first mosaic I did off-center and also id a color change on. But the whole thing turned out beautifully.

The whole piece is symbolic. She has a lemon sized tumor above her left knee on her femur and the ribbon for osteosarcoma (That’s bone cancer, kiddies) is white. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAUREN
